Learning Tree Adds Two New Course Titles to Its Microsoft SharePoint Curriculum

Learning Tree International last week added two new titles to its Microsoft SharePoint curriculum: "SharePoint Governance: Best Practices for Managing SharePoint Environments" and "Branding and Customizing Sites with SharePoint Designer: Hands-On." Running two days and three days respectively, both courses feature expert instructors who lead attendees through extensive exercises and activities designed to provide practical, hands-on experience.

Learning Tree will begin presenting "SharePoint Governance: Best Practices for Managing SharePoint Environments" in the U.S. in March 2009, in Canada in May 2009 and in London, England in July 2009. During "SharePoint Governance: Best Practices for Managing SharePoint Environments," course participants will learn to do the following:

- Create effective communication and training plans for adoption across the enterprise

During "Branding and Customizing Sites with SharePoint Designer: Hands-On," course participants will learn to do the following:

- Design and maintain the look and feel of their site with SharePoint Designer

- Integrate ASP.NET and SharePoint design and layout controls

- Apply Cascading Style Sheets within SharePoint structure

- Customize SharePoint sites to improve accessibility compliance

- Implement Cascading Style Sheets, Themes and Master Pages for overall consistency
