>> Microsoft deployed Demo2WIN demonstration and training workshops from 2WIN! Global, which focus on the presentation and demonstration elements of a customer-facing event. Microsoft has been working closely with the 2WIN! Global team to implement training for its field sales team, and to further deploy the training to partners and the channel.

>> IMC AG, a European provider of learning technology, acquired Dynamic Media eLearning GmbH, an e-learning specialist based in Graz, Austria. The new 100 percent IMC subsidiary will operate under the name, IMC Information Multimedia Communication GmbH.

>> Danish software company Netop A/SS, parent company of Chicago-based Netop Tech, acquired U.S.- and Switzerland-based software company GenevaLogic. The companies say the merger is intended to enhance their portfolio of education and classroom management software offerings.

>> BPO Management Services, Inc. (BPOMS), a business process outsourcing company, signed a strategic agreement with Tectura Corporation, a Redwood City, CA-based Microsoft partner and global services company providing Microsoft-based technology solutions. Under the terms of the agreement, BPOMS will make its human resources outsourcing solutions available to Tectura's North American clients.

>> Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, owner and operator of luxury hotels and resorts, deployed SuccessFactors, Inc.'s Performance and Talent Management Suite to 400 of its senior managers worldwide, and will be training 3,000 department heads, managers, and supervisors in the system over the coming months.
