>> Klein Tools and BlueVolt launched Klein Tools University, an online training resource for professional tradesmen in the electrical, construction, telecommunications, and electronics fields. Klein Tools University includes training on Klein Tools company history, products, and product applications.

>> Michael C. Fina, a provider of employee recognition services, completed a two-year, multiphase technology infrastructure revamp. The upgrade encompasses all of the company's internal and external computer systems, with an eye toward creating more efficient, cost-effective, secure, and environmentally friendly recognition programs.

>> Toolingu.com released three new training subjects. The new releases include training on robotics, rigging, and welding. Both robotics and rigging are new subject areas, while the new welding training enhances Toolingu.com's existing welding curriculum.

>> M. Lee Smith Publishers launched Training Today (no relation to this section of Training magazine), an online employment law training system for supervisors. Training Today is designed to help human resources professionals reduce the risk of lawsuits and workplace conflict arising from claims of discrimination, harassment, overtime misclassification, FMLA abuse, and other violations. The system's courses each consist of a 30-minute video presentation that couples dramatized workplace situations with commentary from practicing employment law attorneys.
