Haven't jumped on the Web 2.0 bandwagon yet? You're not alone. We surveyed 2,742 recent training participants about their use of various technologies for work. Those technologies associated with Web 2.0 were used least overall. There's a lot of buzz around social networking sites such as LinkedIn and Twitter, but only 12 percent of people said they used it frequently for work purposes. Video sites (YouTube), podcasts, and online discussion groups (blogs) were used even less: Only 7 percent of respondents use them frequently for work. Internet search engines and specific Web pages ranked No. 2 overall with 71 percent. So, what's No 1, with 80 percent of people saying they used it frequently for work?
