- Panopto Inc.launched Panopto Focus 4.0 and Panopto Unison, the next generation of end-to-end video and multimedia capture and management Web service solutions. Both solutions provide a video and multimedia search, editing, and viewing experience from any desktop or mobile device. Panopto Focus 4.0 brings lecture capture, while Panopto Unison improves asset management by enabling users to upload existing recordings to their Panopto libraries.
- With direct integration into Rapid Intake Unison, Rapid Intake’s new mLearning Studio tool enables developers to deploy training courses in both Flash and HTML5 formats, allowing learners to access them via a computer or mobile device. Developers place their text and media files into the forms provided, and the mLearning Studio compiles the information into a format that is accessible from iOS, Android, and BlackBerry devices. Developers also can deploy their mobile courses using SCORM 1.2, 2004, or AICC standards.
- Allen Communication Learning Servicesreleased DesignJot, the first app made specifically for training professionals and instructional designers, now available for download at the iTunes store. Designed for the iPad, DesignJot includes two components: analysis and design. The analysis tool leverages Allen’s proprietary ANSWER Analysis to ensure that instructional strategies align with an organization’s unique needs and opportunities. The accompanying design tool includes a flow chart builder, a training objective builder, an activity sketch pad, and a content readiness form that can be exported and e-mailed as deliverables.
