New Training Partnerships and Alliances (July 2026)

The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • TeamBonding, a leader in corporate teambuilding activities, corporate volunteering, professional development, and corporate event planning, acquired Recipe for Success, a provider of premium, customizable culinary teambuilding activities. Previously operated as a successful equal ownership partnership for 15 years, this transition fully incorporates the Recipe for Success brand and its signature methodology into the TeamBonding portfolio as a specialized subdivision, Recipe For Success by TeamBonding. Recipe for Success Flagship Programs being offered at TeamBonding include: Cooking for a Cause, TeamCuisine, Food Truck Challenge, Ice Cream Making Challenge, and Let Them Eat Cake.
  • Global talent advisory firm ZRG made three acquisitions: Sterling Martin Associates, an executive search firm specializing in professional associations, trade organizations, and mission-driven nonprofit organizations; Howard Fischer Associates (HFA), an executive and board search firm known for advising organizations on critical leadership decisions; and Fortium, a firm that provides fractional, interim, and project-based CIO, CTO, and CISO leadership.
  • Symetra Life Insurance Company formed a new partnership with PlanSource that extends Symetra’s group life, disability, and supplemental health products directly into the PlanSource benefits platform. Symetra also established a dedicated team to manage plan configuration and ongoing administration for customers using PlanSource. The partnership includes integrated evidence of insurability, automated self-billing reports, decision support capabilities, and secure eligibility data.
  • Buffkin / Baker, a retained executive search firm, acquired Benson Executive Search, a boutique firm known for its expertise in Human Resources retained executive search. The acquisition strengthens Buffkin / Baker’s Human Resources functional capabilities and gives the firm a stronger presence in the Northeast.
