Culture leaders need to intentionally strengthen workplace norms of behavior during this crisis to create a strong rudder that counterbalances the negative dynamics so they can proactively increase the health and respect within the workplace.
The key to becoming a successful communicator is grounded in discovery. It’s not a change you “put on” when you think you need to, but rather it is discovery of your real self that is manifested through natural communication behavior that you own.
While we may not be able to control our initial response to stress, we can learn to quickly assess the true gravity of it, and employ our rational minds to recover more quickly. This is cognitive resilience—a powerful skill for enabling effective learning.
