Zensar Technologies’ Ignite GenAI Academy is a flagship program under the IT/technology company’s artificial intelligence-first strategy. It offers a role-specific curriculum designed to build future-ready generative AI (genAI) capabilities across the organization.

The program features 27 tailored courses covering foundational programming, prompt engineering, applied AI, deep learning, and advanced genAI applications. Role-based learning paths are tailored to functions such as engineering, project management, leadership, and architecture, ensuring targeted skill-building across foundational and advanced genAI capabilities.
Learning is delivered through a blend of hands-on labs, expert-led sessions, eLearning modules, and gamified simulations. The academy introduced gamified leadership tracks with simulations and leaderboards, fostering engagement and strategic thinking.
To ensure validated expertise, the program includes internal and partner-led certifications from platforms such as AWS, Microsoft, GCP, Salesforce, and Oracle Cloud.
Reinforcement of the program includes:
- Integration of genAI tools in project planning and delivery
- Role rotations and project assignments leveraging genAI skills
- Ongoing updates to learning tracks and advanced modules
- Continued learning and community engagement via the AI Guild community

Results
More than 60 percent of Zensar’s employees were trained through the Ignite GenAI Academy. This included 6,000-plus employees across all five service lines, including Advanced Engineering Services (AES); Data Engineering and Analytics (DE&A); Enterprise SaaS Applications (E-SaaS); and Cloud, Infrastructure, and Security (CIS).
GenAI training now is embedded in all client proposals. Zensar positions its genAI training capabilities as a key differentiator in client engagements and transformation initiatives.
The initiative has contributed to a significant revenue savings for the organization.
