  • BeBop Sensors, Inc., a leader in smart fabric sensor technology, unveiled BeBop Sensors-designed Marcel Modular Data Gloves for OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) in the virtual reality/ augmented reality markets. The data gloves provide haptic feedback and sense knuckle and abduction motion of the human hand.

  • Tobii Pro, a global leader in eye tracking research solutions, revealed a new solution for conducting high-end, eye tracking research within immersive virtual environments (VR)—Tobii Pro VR Integration. The research tool, based on the HTC Vive headset integrated with Tobii eye tracking technology, comes with the Tobii Pro software development kit (SDK) for research applications.

  • Employers that need to verify that workers are doing only jobs they’re trained for have a new solution with Credential Verification Service’s new verification wristbands. Each silicone wristband is stamped with a unique QR code. When the durable wristband is scanned with a smartphone or tablet, the employee’s updated training records are displayed on the device.

  • Bridge by Instructure, a learning management system (LMS) for businesses, now integrates Instructure’s online video platform, Arc, to make learning more engaging in the corporate setting. Combining Arc and Bridge brings new insights around video engagement and video technology to Bridge’s global customers to help them enhance their current suite of tools for learning.
