Benefits of a Global Mindset

A survey by RW3 CultureWizard reveals a correlation between business achievement and companies’ commitment to a global mindset.

Corporations that value and actively promote intercultural proficiency are more likely to achieve key business goals and objectives, according to a worldwide survey of 1,362 business professionals at multinational organizations conducted by global training organization RW3 CultureWizard.

Survey analysis identified two categories of participant organizations:

  • Overachievers: Those that achieved or exceeded their business targets
  • Underachieves: Those that missed business targets

The survey then revealed a correlation between business achievement and companies' commitment to a global mindset.

Some key findings include:

  • 84% of respondents at Overachievers say their organization recognizes different cultural values and preferences in business activities, as compared to only 26% of respondents at Underachieving companies.
  • 81% of Overachieving respondents believe their company supports employees developing a global perspective, as compared to only 38% at Underachievers.
  • 87% of respondents at Overachieving companies agree that their employer values an employee with a global mindset, while less than half of respondents at Underachievers state the same.
