Crowd Pleasers

Congratulations to the winners of our 2025 Training Magazine Network Choice Awards winners!

Driiip. Driip. Drip. Dripdripdripdrip. The increasing cascade of water from the high-hat light in my kitchen quickly prompted the search for a reputable roofing company last month. The first thing my husband and I did was check with family and friends to get recommendations, compile a list of names, and check the reviews—both online and word of mouth. Whether we’re buying something on Amazon, looking for a new restaurant, or seeking a contractor, we’re all about those five-star ratings and learning about other people’s experiences (both good and bad).

We apply that philosophy to our Training Magazine Network (TMN) Choice Awards— making it the Learning and Development (L&D) industry’s only crowd-sourced solution provider awards program. This year, we once again invited the 100,000-plus active members of Training’s social learning community, TMN, to cast their votes for the training providers they find to offer the most effective tools, solutions, and services for their work, in six categories. Check here to see the winners (and the newly redesigned logo!) and visit www.trainingmagnetwork.com/choice_awards/2025 for more detailed company listings. Congratulations to all the winners!

You can experience some of those winning tools, solutions, and technologies in person at the Innovations in Training Test Kitchen, which kicks off our TechLearn 2025 Conference Oct. 6-8 in New Orleans. To learn more and register, visit: www.techlearnconference.com

Last (literally) but not least, I’m excited to introduce you to our new Last Word columnist, Karie Willyerd. Karie currently is the Chief Learning Officer in Residence at Skillable and the Chief Customer Strategy Officer for LTG. Check out her first column here. In addition to sharing her own insights, she will bring perspectives from other senior L&D executives.
