The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • ELB Learning (which offers products and services that help organizations create better learning experiences, and recently rebranded from eLearning Brothers) acquired CoreAxis, a creative training design, development, and on-demand learning resource provider. CoreAxis provides corporate training services and staff augmentation solutions, including custom blended learning and leadership development experiences; and scalable, mobile custom content development.
  • ARuVR, a turnkey extended reality (XR) Learning platform, entered into a strategic commercial partnership with metaverse company Virbela, which builds engaging virtual worlds for remote work, learning, and events. The two companies will collaborate on product integration and marketing.ARuVR also launched its omni-channel training solution that brings together virtual reality, augmented reality, human holographic projections, and metaverse. In addition, ARuVR’s new product release runs with 6DOF (six degrees of freedom), which increases the immersion of the ARuVR platform and allows presenters and users to experience a fully interactive spatial version of the content shared in VR.
  • SpaceSpecialists, which delivers recruitment, training, events, and consulting (RTEC) to the space industry, and Inmisceo, which supports training providers to create and deliver blended and online learning programs, joined forces to provide worldwide blended and online training programs for the global upstream and downstream space industry. The adaptive blended and online training programs are both set and customizable according to individual clients needs and can be delivered to clients no matter what stage they are at (introductory, intermediate, or advanced) in their space knowledge.
  • Visier, a global leader in people analytics and on-demand answers for people-powered business, acquired the assets of ai, a leading collaboration analytics vendor that shines light on employee well-being, satisfaction, and productivity using artificial intelligence (AI) and a combination of deep collaboration analytics and peer polling. With the addition of Yva.ai to its product portfolio, Visier’s platform helps companies understand employees from every dimension—and provides the ability to use these insights to drive positive outcomes for the company, the manager, and the employee.
  • Degreed, Inc., a pioneer in learning experience for 8 million users announced that its Degreed Learning Experience Platform (LXP) is now available on SAP Store, the online marketplace for SAP and partner offerings. Degreed LXP integrates with SAP SuccessFactors Learning to help enterprise clients curate personalized learning experiences, track everything a workforce uses to learn, and grow to inform upskilling and workforce planning, all in one place.
