>> LinkedIn entered into an agreement to acquire lynda.com, an online learning company teaching business, technology, and creative skills to help people achieve their professional goals.

>> The International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the International Enterprise (IE) Singapore, the government agency that promotes international trade and helps Singapore companies to internationalize, partnered to launch the ICC Academy. Delivered via a digital platform, the ICC Academy will provide business education, starting first with a trade finance focus.

>> Allen Communication signed a partnership agreement with Cegos that allows Cegos’ corporate development and managerial content to be incorporated into Allen’s training solutions.

>> Financial services consulting and training specialist FSTP joined forces with online learning and performance developer Unicorn Training to introduce an enhanced sector-specific compliance learning solution.

>> eLearning Brothers and IconLogic, Inc., formed a partnership that allows e-learning developers to receive software training and more than 35,000 e-learning assets for just the price of training alone. Customers who complete either IconLogic’s two-day Adobe Captivate or Articulate Storyline classes are eligible to receive a free one-year subscription to eLearning Brothers eLearning Templates free (a $499 value).

>> Deltek entered into an agreement to acquire HRsmart, a provider of global, unified talent management solutions. The acquisition will broaden and deepen Deltek’s portfolio of human capital management (HCM) solutions.
