The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • Saba Software Inc., a global leader in cloud-based talent management solutions, and Vector Capital entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Halogen Software Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based performance management solutions.

  • Illuminate, a developer of custom clinical sales training programs for the life science industry formed a strategic alliance with CMR Institute, a provider of sales and leadership training for life science professionals. The arrangement allows clients of either firm to access training solutions that are offered by both.

  • Integrated e-learning services and technologies provider Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG) completed the acquisition of NetDimensions, an integrated enterprise talent management software platform provider. The deal introduces proprietary learning management technology to LTG’s portfolio of specialist digital learning businesses, which include LEO, gomo, Eukleia, Preloaded, and Rustici.

  • Training and development firm Jamesson Solutions entered the talent acquisition sector through a value-added associate partnership with TTI Success Insights (TTISI) North America. This will allow Jamesson Solutions to market the TriMetrix suite of candidate assessments from TTISI.

  • eXplorance, a Learning Experience Management (LEM) solutions provider, formed an alliance partnership with Canvas, the learning management system (LMS) created by Instructure, to offer eXplorance’s all-in-one evaluation and feedback systems to all Instructure clients within the Canvas platform interface. Blue measures learners’ needs, skills, and competencies through a range of evaluation mechanisms, while Bluepulse 2 is a live formative feedback platform built to gauge student sentiment and progress.
