The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • Software developer Adobe acquired the French maker of Allegorithmic, the Substance tools used to create textures by game creators, visual effects artists, animators, and designers. Adobe will look to apply Allegorithmic’s technology to its Creative Cloud tools.
  • BenchPrep entered into two new partnerships: Institute for Supply Management will use BenchPrep’s white-label online learning platform to help professionals prepare for the certification exam to become a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM). And the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is partnering with BenchPrep to revamp its Architect Registration Exam (ARE) prep courses and resources. The revamped program—ArchiPrep—aims to improve ARE exam participation and success rates for aspiring licensed architects.
  • Kryon, a provider of intelligent robotic process automation (RPA), formed a partnership with international consulting firm Proservarter. The partnership will enable customers to formulate and implement strategies that will leverage RPA and artificial intelligence to deliver improved process outcomes.
  • Truli Technologies, Inc., a development stage technology company specializing in recruitment software, acquired Recruiter.com, Inc., a recruitment technology platform, which is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Truli. Truli also purchased certain specialized recruiting assets of Genesys Talent, LLC. Genesys will continue to own and develop its disruptive candidate sourcing and engagement technology, MatchList. Going forward, the company intends to change its name from Truli Technologies, Inc., to Recruiter.com Group, Inc.
