The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • Caveo Learning, a consulting firm providing learning strategies and solutions, acquired Ellegro, a developer of custom e-learning and a subsidiary of extended workforce management provider Beeline, a division of Adecco Group North America. The combined organization continues to be known as Caveo Learning.
  • The GE Foundation partnered with the International Labour Organization (ILO) to launch a learning program that aims to provide 16- to 18-yearolds with practical work experience in science, engineering, technology, and math (STEM) careers. The Global Youth Internship Programme will start in Boston and then expand globally in partnership with international nongovernmental organizations (NGOs).
  • Sodexo, a leader in quality of life services, acquired Inspirus, an engagement services company. Following the acquisition, Sodexo will fully own the Inspirus business and its customer portfolio. Inspirus will continue to operate as a separate and independent entity under the Sodexo Benefits and Rewards Services, USA division.
  • BlueBottleBiz, a learning platform for business professionals, partnered with Kantola Training Solutions, Nolo, and Vado, Inc., to offer content geared toward legal industry professionals, as well as video and Lean courses. New content will include Stanford Executive Briefings (Kantola Training Solutions), which feature videos from Steve Young, managing director and co-founder, Huntsman Gay Global Capital, and NFL Hall of Fame quarterback; Ed Whitacre, former chairman and CEO, AT&T and GM; and Amy Wilkinson, lecturer, Stanford Graduate School of Business.
