The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

 

  • SurePeople, a global HR technology company, announced a new collaboration with the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL), a not-for-profit organization that works to improve health by enhancing the capacity of health-care leaders. SurePeople’s team and solutions will help NCHL to promote evidence-based leadership practices and forward-thinking approaches for the organization’s members and the field.
  • Explorance, a provider of Learning Journey Analytics (LJA) solutions, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Metrics That Matter (MTM), which is being divested from Gartner, Inc. MTM is a provider of Learning & Development (L&D) data and analytics solutions for the corporate market.
  • CIP Capital completed an investment in Carnegie Learning, a provider of math products and services, and is merging it with recently acquired New Mountain Learning (NML), a provider of literacy, language, and digital competency skills. The new company will be called Carnegie Learning, Inc. (CL) and will offer a digital and print product portfolio spanning math, science, computer science and coding, English language arts, world languages, digital skills, and career readiness.
  • SumTotal Systems, a Skillsoft company, and STRIVR, a leader in immersive virtual reality (VR) training, partnered to deliver corporate training experiences that are driven by deep data insights integrated into the SumTotal Learning Management platform. They are accelerating employee time to proficiency through STRIVR’s immersive VR training simulations and delivering xAPI-powered integration into SumTotal’s learning management system (LMS).
