The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • D2L formed an education partnership in Libya with MEDA. Using D2L’s Brightspace learning platform, thousands of female entrepreneurs across Libya will have access to business education courses on mobile devices with personalized learning, social content, analytics, and game-based courses.
  • The Digital Marketing Institute partnered with Logical Operations, an information technology instructor-led courseware company, to provide expert-facilitated training programs geared to help marketing and sales professionals gain the skills needed to succeed in the digital world.
  • WebLink, an Association Management Software (AMS) provider, and Connectik, an enterprise collaboration platform and app, formed a partnership that will leverage Connectik’s collaboration features and social network tools to help WebLink’s customers increase productivity and streamline internal communication efforts. Connectik will integrate its enterprise communications solution into WebLink’s platform, which is being used by 800-plus membership-based organizations and Chambers of Commerce across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Know Your Crew, a tech company using analytics and psychology to optimize and strengthen team relationships, and Hogan X, a division of Hogan Assessments focused on disruptive innovation in the personality assessment industry, formed a partnership that combines Know Your Crew’s platform—which integrates teambuilding seamlessly into the workday and measures team dynamics—with Hogan’s decades of research and team analytics. Hogan Assessments also formed a partnership with Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search and leadership advisory firm. The firms initially will work together on creating a new, co-branded assessment approach designed to predict executive performance in C-level roles.
