  • Pearson, a leading digital media learning company, acquired Credly, a market leader in digital workforce credentialing. The acquisition of Credly, in which Pearson has a nearly 20 percent stake, will expand the company’s presence in the workforce skills sector, adding a credentialing service to its workforce analysis, learning, and assessment capabilities.
  • Cornerstone OnDemand, a leader in adaptive cloud-based HR software solutions, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire EdCast, a learning experience platform (LXP) software provider. EdCast’s platform is powered by a skills engine and a content marketplace, with an experience delivered in the flow of work via an artificial intelligence-powered knowledge cloud.
  • The Academy of Creative Coaching (ACC) and nonprofit Coaching for Everyone (CFE) joined forces to train and provide coaching certification to BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) leaders nationally in business and civic communities in the U.S. and UK. This strategic alliance aims to diversify the nationwide coaching community by certifying coaches and leaders of color, as well as build a pipeline of BIPOC coaches. ACC will be the certification partner for select CFE cohorts to provide the coaches with full Professional Coaching Certification (PCC).   • Coaching‌.‌com acquired WBECS. As the new Programs and Events Division of Coaching‌.‌com, coach education specialist WBECS will continue to provide learning and events such as the Annual Summit. As a combined entity, Coaching‌.‌com is a comprehensive coaching experience platform, delivering everything needed to create positive and transformative change for individuals, organizations, and the world.
  • Global HR technology disruptor HiBob launched its partnership with Deel, a leading payroll and compliance system for companies with international teams. The integration of the two HR software platforms gives global companies the ability to streamline and better serve dynamic workforces, whether teams comprise a mix of full-time employees and contract or freelance workers or domestic and international workers. In addition to its Payroll Hub, HiBob’s Bob platform offers functionality that simplifies core HR processes while driving engagement, productivity, and business outcomes. Deel’s technology offers payroll, HR, compliance, perks, benefits, and other capabilities needed to hire and manage a global team.
  • HRSoft, a leader in compensation software and goals-based performance management solutions, expanded its technology partnership with UKG by adding PERFORMview to the UKG Marketplace. UKG is a global provider of human capital management (HCM), payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions. Using the PERFORMview software, employees establish and track their individual and team goals. The software is integrated with UKG Pro through a pre-built API to automatically transfer relevant data on a regular schedule.
  • Skuid, a toolkit for creating human-centered digital experiences, acquired InFlight Corporation. The InFlight platform helps enterprise organizations modernize their business applications and improve the talent and employee experience (EX). Together, Skuid and InFlight will offer a solution for enterprises seeking to optimize people operations by creating modern user experiences that are integrated with their systems of record. With Skuid, backed by InFlight integrations, enterprises can create Web-based apps across their people-facing stack, including Human Resources Software (HRS), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Studytube, a Dutch online learning and development platform, acquired Springest, a European training-booking marketplace. By combining Springest’s database with Studytube’s online learning and development platform, organizations utilizing Springest can search, find, and book courses and also organize, manage, and deliver their learning and development in one place.
  • Second Nature announced an agreement to integrate its artificial intelligence-powered sales conversation simulations into Corporate Visions’ sales messaging certification and fluency coaching programs. Second Nature’s software platform offers simulations in natural language with AI-powered conversation partners from a variety of ages, ethnicities, and genders. By using Second Nature, Corporate Visions’ customers can more efficiently certify their sellers’ proficiency without relying on human coaches to review individual recordings. The platform will form the basis of Corporate Visions’ new Fluency Coaching AI program.
  • Technology workforce development company Pluralsight partnered with corporate education content hub Go1. Together, the companies will deliver a curated content experience designed to help Go1 customers learn in-demand technology skills, including those featured in the Pluralsight Technology Index. Premium Go1 subscribers now can access custom content from Pluralsight Skills, enabling them to build skills in specialized technology roles, including IT/DevOps, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning.
  • Amazon is further expanding the career advancement opportunities it offers its 750,000 hourly employees in the U.S. by partnering with more than 140 national and local universities to provide fully funded college tuition. The announcement is part of the company’s ongoing enhancements to Career Choice—an Amazon upskilling program designed to help front-line employees grow their skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. Amazon employees in the U.S. will benefit from new Career Choice partnerships with Southern New Hampshire University, Colorado State University–Global, Western Governors University, National University, and numerous local universities. Amazon also is partnering with GEDWorks and Smart Horizons to provide employees with high school completion and GED preparation; Voxy EnGen and goFLUENT to provide English language proficiency training; and Outlier to provide college preparation courses—all for free.   • Colibri Group, a professional education company with leading brands that provide learning solutions to licensed professionals, acquired Becker Professional Education and OnCourse Learning. With this agreement, Colibri Group adds leading capabilities in accounting; mortgage; and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) to its portfolio of professional education services. Becker is a global leader in Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam prep and offers products in accounting continuing professional education and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) test prep. OnCourse Learning is a provider of regulatory and compliance education solutions for the mortgage and financial sectors.
