The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

ON24, Inc., a global leader in Webinar-based marketing solutions, is partnering with ASCD, a global community dedicated to excellence in learning, teaching, and leading, to deliver education-focused Webinars to its members and educators worldwide.

BizLibrary, a provider of online employee training and e-learning solutions, acquired AK Learning. The acquisition includes a collection of more than 1,000 video lessons covering a range of business and professional skills areas and the BoosterLearn training reinforcement platform.

Degreed and getAbstract, two providers of next-generation enterprise learning and development solutions, are partnering, a move that will provide mutual customers with seamless, single sign-on access to getAbstract’s knowledge library of 10,000-plus summarized business books, economic reports, and video talks through Degreed’s learning engagement platform.

In an effort to help bridge the gap between higher education and the workplace to increase the employability of graduates, Pearson established its Employability Advisory Board (EAB). The 16-member board includes representatives from organizations such as Marriott Hotels, UpSkillAmerica.org, Ohio Department of Education, and the National Restaurant Association. A series of Pearson-hosted employability Webinars will feature EAB members on key trends and issues.

Hotel brand Radisson formed a new education partnership with Meeting Professionals International (MPI). The Radisson Meetings Success program contains a new certification consisting of six virtual training modules.
