I am Ph.D. student in the Learning Design and Technology program at the University of Hawaii currently conducting research on training transfer and evalulation. I’m hoping you and your Learning and Development (L&D) colleagues can share your experience and expertise and help me identify some best practices in these areas. Many thanks to Training magazine for getting the word out about my survey to all of you in the L&D community.
About the Research
My research aims to explore:
- Why and how organizations evaluate the transfer of training to on-the-job performance.
- How organizations use technology to collect, store, evaluate, and analyze evaluation data.
- The role organization size plays in the implementation of the evaluation of the transfer of training.
In this anonymous 15-minute survey, I ask L&D professionals to share how they evaluate training. Accessing the first page of the survey implies your consent to participate.
At the end of the survey, you can opt in to participate in an interview on how organizations evaluate training programs and use technology to capture, store, and analyze training data.
