  • GigXR, Inc., a global provider of holographic healthcare training, announced the release of a new Basic Life Support (BSL) module for its HoloScenarios mixed reality application. Created in partnership with Morlen Health, a subsidiary of Northwest Permanente, P.C., the hyper-immersive holographic training module delivers lifelike realism to enhance learning and retention of critical skills required to provide Basic Life Support. The new module—HoloScenarios: Basic Life Support—uses mixed reality to accurately simulate the urgency of providing immediate care to a patient requiring Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). Learners can see and interact with both a hyper-realistic hologram patient experiencing cardiac arrest and the medical equipment, such as AED devices. Delivered by the Gig Immersive Learning Platform, the module provides the option for instructors to remotely train first responders, healthcare providers, medical and nursing students, public safety professionals, and community members. Learners can join lessons from the same or disparate physical locations while seeing the same hologram.
  • Applaud, an employee experience platform, unveiled new updates to its software suite, providing users access to data in real time to increase the speed and accuracy of information sharing for HR teams. Key features of the Apollo release include:on any device, users now can link their Google Analytics and Tag Manager to the Applaud Platform and view different platform data about usage; access information on what apps are used most and which ones might no longer be required; and Tenant Admins have access to view up-to-date data from their Google Analytics account. Another part of this update is Workbot, a cloud-based tool designed to streamline workflow and communication with Applaud digital services directly within Teams.
  • Tango, a browser extension and desktop application that automatically generates how-to guides while people work, introduced Batch Blur functionality to its solution ecosystem. The new feature enables businesses to protect personally identifiable information (PII) across every how-to guide made with Tango in just one click. Batch Blur can help organizations meet compliance requirements and avoid penalties. It also enables companies to share PII data securely while minimizing the risk of breaches or misuse.
