>> Axero Solutions released version 5.0 of Communifire, its social networking platform for the enterprise that empowers employees to be more productive, engaged, and collaborative. New features include Communifire Chat, Required Reading, Bookmarking, and Communifire FileSync for Windows Desktop.

>> Sapience Analytics launched Sapience Buddy. Using insights gained from more than 220 million hours of workplace data, the PC-based software application automatically discovers users’ daily work patterns and time spent on multiple work activities. Its Sapience Work Yoga feature guides users on simple changes to work habits that can have a dramatic impact on both productivity and wellness. Sapience Buddy acts as a virtual assistant, helping to set goals for improvement and encouraging users with daily feedback. Wellness prompts users to take a break from their desks.

>> Cornerstone OnDemand announced two product enhancements: Cornerstone Insights, which leverages machine learning and a set of big data to provide recommendations to managers—in the vein of Netflix recommendations—for workplace decisions; and Cornerstone Edge, new cloud computing services that enable clients, partners, and third-party developers to create custom tools and applications within Cornerstone’s HR software within 15 minutes.
