Tech Talk (May 2023)

Find out about the latest advances in training technology.

  • Cisco unveiled new purpose-built Webex artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities that deliver hybrid work experiences. New features include cinematic meetings (cameras use voice and facial recognition to automatically switch views to capture the best angle of the active speaker), smart re-lighting, an automatic “be right back” update when a user steps away from the meeting, and automated chat summaries.
  • Sendsteps, an interactive presentation platform, launched its first AI-powered interactive presentation tool. Sendsteps.ai can generate presentations with engagement features such as voting, live Q&A, and word clouds 10x faster. Users provide their topic, audience, language, and length, and Sendsteps.ai does the rest, including adding interactive elements throughout the presentation.
