Minneapolis, MN (November 25, 2025)—Training magazine, the leading business publication for Learning and Development (L&D) professionals, today announced the winners of its 2026 Training MVP Awards. The rankings for the leading organizations that excel in employer-sponsored training and development will be unveiled during a black-tie Gala to be held February 23, 2026, during the Training 2026 Conference & Expo in Orlando, FL. In addition, Applied Materials, Inc., and ESL Federal Credit Union will be inducted into the Training Hall of Fame after earning rankings in the top 10 for four consecutive years.

“Learning and development is, indeed, the field of dreams as L&D professionals help employees attain their career aspirations and organizations become all-stars in their industries,” notes Training Editor/Publisher Lorri Freifeld. “Our 2026 Training MVP Award winners are game-changers, training champions, and major league L&D bar raisers. We salute their impressive achievements in and deep dedication to employee learning and development over the past year.”

Training magazine has recognized excellence in human capital development for the last 26 years. The Training MVP Awards ranking is based on myriad benchmarking statistics and a range of qualitative and quantitative factors, including:

  • Total training budget
  • Percentage of payroll
  • Scope of training programs provided
  • Detailed formal and informal training programs
  • Training linked to business/business unit goals
  • Kirkpatrick Level 3 (behavior change) and 4 evaluation (business outcomes) resulting from training

All applications are scored by the Training Hall of Fame members and Training Editor/Publisher Lorri Freifeld.

In-depth profiles of each of the top five companies will appear in the March 2026 issue of Training, and more information about the training efforts of all the winners will appear in the issue and online at www.trainingmag.com.
