The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • Universum Development, parent company of employer branding firm Universum Group, acquired Doostang, a global career networking platform for young professionals. Founded in 2005, Doostang has more than 900,000 members. Members join Doostang to get exclusive access to 15,000-plus hand-picked positions with thousands of employers across finance and investment, consulting, media, and technology industries.
  • France-based Edenred, inventor of Ticket Restaurant and a leader in prepaid business services, is strengthening its global recruitment with Lumesse Talent Acquisition. The new recruitment system is available in English and French on the Edenred Website and intranet. Lumesse has allowed Edenred to meet two main objectives: improving the monitoring and analysis of recruitment and developing the Edenred employer brand through a “careers space” adapted to different populations (students, graduates, experienced candidates, and seniors).
  • Ambow Education Holding, Ltd., announced the launch of Cisco unified networking and Apple authorized training facilities on its Dalian career enhancement campus in China. The center has the capacity to serve up to 5,000 students and currently focuses on IT career enhancement services and software outsourcing training. Cisco Unified Networking Lab enables hands-on training for a variety of Cisco certificates. Apple Authorized Training Center offers an open environment providing training in mobile application development, graphic design, and video production.
