>> Cornerstone OnDemand introduced Universal Profiles, which aggregates user information and activities from within the Cornerstone talent management system; a new, redesigned Cornerstone Connect social collaboration platform; new social performance and employee recognition tools; and expanded native mobile functionality across the suite.

>> Powered by InterviewStream, FrontRow Juno users now can download Mac-compatible software to add automated lesson capture and system control to their portable classroom audio systems. This release runs on Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard), as well as with the Windows 8 operating system.

>> Adobe released Adobe Captivate 7, which offers enhanced support for HTML5-based e-learning content and lets users create courses that meet accessibility standards. Other features include drag-and-drop modules, YouTube video streaming, in-course Web browsing, and recording system audio along with narration.

>> RolePlayPRO is the first video technology to be combined with role-playing. Using online video software, co-workers from locations nationwide can rehearse scenarios to improve their speaking abilities, sharpen skills, and prepare for presentations.

>> Video platform provider Panopto released Panopto 4.4, which includes a native iPad app, the first Panopto-Certified video capture device (in collaboration with Epiphan Systems Inc.), and software-based multi-camera video switching.
