>> Panopto announced the latest version of its e-learning and video platform solution:Panopto 4.3. New features include failsafe recording, social enablement (including rich comments, community ratings, and video bookmarks), and a scalable platform (per-user analytics and an IT admin dashboard).

>> The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) partnered withTouch of Life Technologies (ToLTech) to develop a virtual reality-based shoulder simulator to train and evaluate orthopedic residents in surgical proficiency in shoulder arthroscopy. The device combines 3-D graphics with robotic capabilities that simulate the touch and feel of a surgical procedure and human tissue.

>> Belkin announced the Belkin Stage app for next-generation learning using aniPad. It combines the convenience of a document camera with the power of an interactive whiteboard for cost-effective, connected learning. Belkin also unveiled itsTablet Stage, an ergonomic stand for tablets that makes training room presentations easy to deliver.

>> ON24, Inc., a provider of Webcasting and virtual environment solutions, unveiled its Continuing Education (CE) solutions on tablet computers and smart phones. Developed primarily for key customers in the financial services and accounting industries, ON24’s new mobile CE offering meets evolving CE access requirements in the legal and medical professions, as well.

>> AgreeYa Mobility, a mobile engineering product and service firm, introduced Onvelop, an intuitive, unified collaboration and communication platform. Onvelop utilizes licensed Microsoft protocols to provide secure access to enterprise server software such as SharePoint, Lync, and Office 365 from smart phones and tablets across multiple operating systems such as iOS, Android, and Windows 8 devices.
