Productivity Coach’s Corner: How Could You Follow Up?

It's important to let people know you’re thinking of them, and improve your connection habit.

In the last few days, you surely have attended a video meeting or been in a room with peers to talk through a project, problem, or opportunity. Recall something you learned about one of the people with whom you collaborate. Whether it was a work event or something you’re involved in with your community, ask yourself a powerful connection question: “How can I follow up with_____?”

Now take the next three minutes to send an e-mail—or even better, video-record a note via your phone messaging app. Let them know you’re thinking of them, and improve your connection habit. Work better, together.
