Jeffrey Artis and Autumn Black

Jeffrey Artis is the president and CEO of Genesys Works, a national nonprofit that provides equitable access to career pathways for high school students in underserved communities. Before joining Genesys Works, Artis spent seven years at the helm of Corporate Engagement for Year Up, where he served as the architect of its enterprise growth strategy. With more than 40 years of experience leading technology and workforce development solutions for Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies such as Agile-1, BMC, and IBM, Artis is a leading expert in establishing partnerships that expand career readiness experiences for youth that prepare them to achieve long-term economic success. He is a graduate of Williams College. Autumn Black is a Corporate Program and Compliance specialist with Insperity, a provider of Human Resources offering a comprehensive suite of scalable HR solutions. Over the last year, she has partnered with others in her organization to grow their Genesys Works high school internships into a successful enterprise-wide program where she focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for both the interns and the teams they support. She is a first- generation high school and college graduate, which drives her passion for the program.
