John Knightly is the chief marketing officer (CMO) of BlueJeans by Verizon. He is responsible for leading marketing, product management, and sales for BlueJeans, and helped with the brand acquisition to Verizon. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning pre-IPO, mid-sized, and Fortune 500 enterprises, and a proven ability to work with senior executives to develop strategy, positioning, and integrated marketing initiatives to make technology business-critical to buyers and drive revenue growth. Prior to his role as CMO, he served as SVP of Product and Solution Marketing, where he led product, solution, customer, channel, and alliance marketing for the organization. Prior to that, he held several executive positions with key organizations, including HP, Adobe, BEA Systems, ePropose, Brightware, Interference, and Honeywell. Knightly holds a Bachelor’s in statistics from Princeton University and a Master’s in business administration from the University of California.
