Justin Lake is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Skyllful (formerly Venado Technologies), a leading provider of a mobile digital adoption platform (MDAP) that helps frontline workers use enterprise mobile apps more efficiently and effectively.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Lake has deep expertise in mobile technology and field deployments as well as decades of experience working with frontline workers. A lifelong early adopter of new
technology, Lake’s enthusiasm for innovation and how to use it in ways that empower people have driven forward his career as a problem solver who likes to build things.
Joining Venado Technologies (now Skyllful) in 2015, Lake designed the framework for Skyllful’s MDAP platform that provides on-device, on-demand training through scenario-based simulations. He is a recognized thought leader about the critical need for ongoing training and education as keys to maximizing mobile technology adoption and productivity by the frontline workforce.
Lake spent the first ten years of his career in the wireless carrier space, working in various sales roles at GTE (now Verizon) and AT&T Wireless. He then moved to hardware and managed services, working in business development roles at Symbol Technologies and Stratix Corporation.
Lake earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and information technology from Amberton University. He grew up in northeast New Jersey and moved to Texas in 1993, where he now resides in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area with his wife and son. Outside of work, Lake enjoys woodworking, 3D printing, and modeling, and enjoying the outdoors with his family as an avid mountain biker and skier.
