  • Cornerstone OnDemand Inc., a leader in learning and talent experience solutions, acquired extended reality capabilities and a team of specialized domain experts from Talespin, a spatial learning company focused on workforce skills development. Talespin’s extended reality (XR) learning technology solidifies Cornerstone’s content subscriptions, curation, creation, and insights technology to create an end-to-end learning content solution. Talespin’s immersive learning content is available now within Cornerstone’s Content Subscriptions and can be integrated into its learning solutions for all customers. Additionally, Cornerstone customers now can use the Talespin platform to create and deploy out-of-the-box, customized, or self-created immersive training for use cases across industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, finance, and retail to address skills gaps and talent shortages. This includes Talespin’s artificial intelligence-powered, no-code XR content authoring tool, CoPilot Designer, and its generative AI immersive learning labs services offering.
  • Coaching Centred Leadership Ltd, an employee leadership training practitioner, and AdagioVR, a virtual-reality (VR) high-performance tool, formed a new collaborative project to increase employee mental health and well-being. Coaching Centred Leadership’s training days now will incorporate AdagioVR’s immersive VR programs, with full privacy, governance, and remote accessibility.
  • Keystone Partners, a Silver Oak Services Partners LLC portfolio company, acquired the Center for Executive Coaching (CEC), a leader in executive coach certification and training for accomplished professionals. This acquisition brings together a provider of leadership development and outplacement services with an executive coach certification provider, expanding the reach and impact of both companies.
  • Branded payments provider Blackhawk Network (BHN) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire digital B2B gift card rewards company Tango Card. Tango innovated a digital-first B2B rewards experience through its API, utilized for employee retention/recognition, market research rewards, wellness program rewards, marketing and customer engagement, sales incentives, and more.
  • GigXR, Inc., a global provider of XR solutions for healthcare training, and CAE Healthcare formed a partnership to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical simulation. The collaboration streamlines the ability to implement and manage multimodal simulation for medical schools, nursing schools, hospital systems, first responders, and government—spanning analog, immersive, and digital modalities that can be used to create full curricula. Applications include HoloPatient (17 different pathologies to empower learners in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with like-life realism for conditions ranging from COPD to burns and dementia), Insight Enterprise Series by ANIMA RES (delivers 3D models of the heart, lung, and kidneys to show the impacts of conditions and diseases on affected organs), DICOM XR Library (transforms CT scans and MRIs into hyper-realistic 3D models for use in teaching, training, and simulation), HoloScenarios (provide full clinical simulations that mimic the entire patient care journey, from assessment and diagnosis to appropriate intervention and escalation of care), and HoloHuman (provides a whole-body anatomy hologram with more than 4,500 named and described structures within 12 body systems).
  • Bisk, a pioneer in online and corporate education, announced a new partnership with the University of Missouri–St. Louis (UMSL). This strategic collaboration will provide working professionals access to UMSL’s industry-relevant educational offerings through Bisk Amplified, an online platform that enables organizations to align their upskilling goals while providing employees with a one-stop-shop for accessing Bisk’s portfolio of courses, certificates, and degree programs offered in partnership with leading universities.
  • Tech firm Gallagher selected HR/people management platform HiBob’s next-generation human capital management HCM system, “Bob,” to help the company get access to important people data quickly and easily in order to gain stronger insights for informed decision-making.
  • ARuVR, an XR and spatial computing learning platformfor enterprises, announced a collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., by joining the Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder Program and becoming a Snapdragon Spaces developer. The Snapdragon Spaces Pathfinder Program enables ARuVR to rapidly deploy and speed the creation of immersive spatial learning and development (L&D) experiences for enterprises looking to capitalize on the opportunities presented by mixed reality (MR) and spatial computing within their learning workflows. ARuVR’s enterprise-grade XR learning solutions now will be integrated and available on Lenovo’s ThinkReality VRX enterprise headset, which is powered by a Snapdragon XR platform and incorporates the Snapdragon Spaces open ecosystem SDK.
  • Saint Peter’s Healthcare System launched New Jersey’s first tuition-free education benefit available for healthcare employees through a new partnership with InStride, a tech-enabled services company that delivers workforce education solutions. TheLearning, Education and Advancement Program (LEAP), available to Saint Peter’s full- and part-time employees, makes educational growth accessible so employees can earn credentials and degrees to advance their professional careers in healthcare. Through LEAP, employees will be able to access more than 1,000 online learning options, ranging from Bachelor’s degrees to skill courses and English-language learning from academic institutions including Arizona State University, The City University of New York (CUNY), and the University of Colorado.
