New Training Partnerships and Alliances (April 2025)

The latest training industry mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and more.

  • The Rising Stars Program, a nonprofit that aims to cultivate a strong, well-rounded workforce and drive success in the construction industry, is launching a mentorship alliance in Brooklyn, following a successful pilot program. Designed to support Rising Stars as they navigate workforce entry, the mentor program will last up to a year after graduation. With plans to launch in April 2025, this will be a collaborative effort with two New York-based partners: Urban Green Council (UGC), a nonprofit dedicated to decarbonizing buildings for healthy and resilient communities, and RiseBoro Community Partnership, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit that focuses on holistic community revitalization by developing neighborhood assets and programs designed to connect people to resources to help everyone in the community thrive. Supported by Con Edison through its one-year-long Clean Energy and Technology Careers planning grant, the Rising Stars Program aims to pair approximately 10 students with mentors from the UGC network.
  • QuestionPro, a global leader in online survey and research services, and MarketCulture, a leading provider of employee and customer engagement tools and analytics, formed a strategic partnership that integrates MarketCulture’s MRI Benchmark methodology with QuestionPro’s employee engagement platform. This synergy provides a seamless solution for organizations to gather, analyze, and act on employee feedback, uncovering blind spots that hinder growth and performance.
  • Congruity HR, a professional employer organization (PEO), acquired Total Team Solutions, a provider of personalized HR services for small to medium-sized businesses across the country. Congruity is a portfolio company of private equity firm RFE Investment Partners.
  • Global talent advisory firm ZRG made two acquisitions: legal executive search firm EP Dine and Aspen Leadership Group (ALG), a premier firm in placing and supporting fundraising and other leaders in education and the broader nonprofit sector. ZRG is backed by private equity investor RFE Investment Partners.
  • All-in-one content creator video platform FanHero formed a partnership with the American Dental Institute (ADI) to bring dental education into the digital age. ADI’s new virtual learning platform delivers interactive courses, real-time workshops, and a thriving online dental community, making professional development more accessible.
  • The National League of Cities (NLC) joined forces with the Professional Development Academy (PDA) to introduce the NLC High Performance Leadership Academy, a 12-week online program tailored to strengthen leadership skills among city officials nationwide. The academy delivers practical, applicable lessons through a flexible online format. Participants gain insights from an expert leadership coach and a world-class faculty featuring leaders from the public, private, and academic sectors. Programs include: NLC High Performance Leadership, NLC Enterprise Cybersecurity Leadership, NLC Leading On Purpose, and NLC AI Leadership Academy. The first session kicks off in April 2025.
