- Global learning company Chegg announced that Chegg Skills, its workforce upskilling and reskilling business, signed a partnership with Woolf, a globally accredited higher-education institution operating across 60-plus countries. The partnership integrates skills-based courses directly into Woolf’s academic framework, allowing Woolf students to earn academic credit for completing Chegg Skills programs.
- Angelo State University (ASU) launched an Air Traffic Control Simulator Lab developed with UFA, a provider of aviation safety solutions. The new lab features an air traffic control tower simulator with a 240-degree field of view of a hyper-realistic airport digital twin, along with voice recognition and response to help students practice air traffic control communication. It also includes a digital tabletop, where individual students or groups can see and manipulate air traffic scenarios. The lab was designed to prepare students for Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification.
