By Gary Keller and Jay Papasan Whether training others to build the competencies needed to improve their work results or focusing on hitting your own objectives, one critical question always comes up: How can I get more done in the time I have?

I would not be a happy camper if my publisher pulled a “Marissa Mayer” and called me to say I could no longer work from home after three blissful years of doing so and would have to resume my four-hour-a-day commute to an office in New York City. And I shudder at the very thought of coming home to two lonely, enraged dachshunds with too much time on their…um…paws. I certainly would think about looking for another job. In the meantime, I would drag my sorry self to the office and be unhappy, unengaged, and resentful (and probably pretty unproductive).

Excelsior, MN (February 18, 2013)— Verizon picked up the No. 1 spot on the Training Top 125 for the second year in a row, earning its induction into the Top 10 Hall of Fame in 2014 after securing positions in the Top 10 for the last four consecutive years. No. 4 Farmers Insurance likewise punched its ticket to the Top 10 Hall of Fame next year. Top 5 newcomers Jiffy Lube International, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and CHG Health Care Services nabbed Nos. 2, 3, and 5, respectively. This year, 25 newcomers cracked the Top 125 list.

Excelsior, MN (February 14, 2012)—Telecommunications company Verizon rang in the New Year by capturing the No. 1 spot on the Training Top 125 for the first time in 2012. Farmers Insurance claimed the No. 2 spot, while Top 5 newcomers Miami Children’s Hospital, Mohawk Industries, and McDonald’s nabbed Nos. 3, 4, and 5, respectively.
